Welcome
Saving Our Forests is a short film about the decline of Ponderosa pine forests, its impact on rural communities, and what can be done to save both.

Oregon’s dry side forests offer some of the most rugged and spectacular scenery in the state.
But over the past century these forests have been dramatically altered. Nearly 10 million acres of Ponderosa pine forests have either moderately or severely departed from what is considered healthy and sustainable.
What’s happening to Ponderosa pine forests in Eastern Oregon is happening all over the inland west.
We hope you join us in saving our forests.
